Consumer rights
EU consumer law provides protections for many purchases made by consumers from traders. For many distance contracts, consumers have a 14-day withdrawal period, subject to statutory exceptions and rules for when the period starts. Digital content supplied immediately may affect withdrawal rights only where the relevant legal conditions and consumer consent and acknowledgement requirements are met.
